vacation

Well, I thought I posted something about taking a vacation a week ago, but I was enjoying vacation so much, I didn't realize that I forgot.

Oops.

I left my bike at Jeff's place in Park City and flew to the east coast to see some family and attend my cousin's graduation from Brown University.

Our family stayed in Cape Cod for the week; we enjoyed kayaking, playing corn hole and watching the sunset every night.

The food was incredible.

After regular meals of trail mix and tinned salmon on the road, I thoroughly relished our family cooked dinners. We also ate a few meals out, and I managed to grab this photo while at the fantastic Water Street Kitchen:

I'll resume my journey on Monday, heading north into Idaho and Montana, east into Colorado and Wyoming.

I was supposed to plot a rough idea of the route on paper, but I didn't do that either.

Tomorrow I'll have a couple boring hours at the airport to figure it out.
